NodeEscape
This is an English/Portuguese translation of the Chinese translation by Haoyu Qiu of the original Japanese NodeEscape. I have no copyright interests and this is just a study project intended to make this interesting game known to more people.

How do you use nodes with each other? In the Japanese and Chinese versions I can place nodes on top of each other to interact, but that’s not working for me in this version.

I am too. Is it broken or something?
I would assume so. This is a translation of a translation, and things are changed from the original Japanese game (text on bottom instead of top, nodes that can't interact move away from each other in the original but not here). Somewhere along the way, someone broke it.
i cant work out the finger puzzle - which order do they go in?
If you got to that point, there's probably a hint you didn't associate with this puzzle yet.
